Donate company laptops in Ontario.

Refreshing soon, or sorting a pile that still runs well? If they can carry Windows 11, or a Mac of a similar generation, they can become a child’s computer. Tell us the count, the models, and the city. We will reply with a clear, kind plan before anyone drives.

Pickup and placement questions

Practical answers for companies ready to give working laptops a second life with kids.

How does a company arrange a laptop pickup with Tech4Kidz?

Use the form on this page or email info@tech4kidz.ca with your company name, city, device count, models, and wipe status. We confirm fit, schedule an Ontario pickup, complete a second wipe with our IT partner, and place working laptops with children through our agency partners.

What used laptops are a strong fit for children?

Machines that still run well for school: typically Windows 11 capable laptops or Macs of a similar generation, with one charger for each laptop. We focus on devices a child can rely on for a full school year.

Can Tech4Kidz pick up company laptops outside Ontario?

Our pickup network is Ontario-focused today. If you are elsewhere and still want to help, email info@tech4kidz.ca and we will share what is possible or point you toward options that keep kids first.

Is there a minimum number of laptops to donate?

No strict minimum. Larger lots are easier to schedule, and smaller gifts still matter. Tell us what you have and we will guide the next step.

Do donated laptops need chargers?

Yes. Please include one charger for each laptop. A machine that arrives ready to plug in is much easier to place with a child.

How long does a Tech4Kidz laptop donation take?

After we receive your list, we confirm fit, schedule an Ontario pickup, complete the second wipe with our IT partner, and place working devices with partner agencies. We aim to have them with the kids within a week or two. We keep you posted.

Is Tech4Kidz a laptop recycling program?

No. Tech4Kidz is a laptop reuse program for children. We place working company laptops with kids who need a computer for school. We are not a public recycling depot or an e-waste drop-off.

What is the difference between laptop reuse and laptop recycling?

Reuse means a working laptop gets a second life on a child’s desk. Recycling breaks a device down for materials. Tech4Kidz focuses on reuse: corporate donations of working machines, a careful second wipe, and placement with children in Ontario.
